The region offers gentle walks, easy to medium hikes, or difficult Alpine tours according to what suits your level of fitness, preference and mood. With 1,000 km of marked hiking trails, you cannot fail to find the right route for you.

Attention mountain bikers!

There are more than 800 km of marked mountain bike routes and cycling paths in the Ziller Valley – it is a true paradise for mountain bikers. More than 30 different tours to suit different levels of ability are available.

 

Easy cycling paths, such as the one between Strass and Mayrhofen, which is 40 km long and has an altitude difference of just 83 (takes between 3 and 4 hours), are ideal for beginners and for the whole family.

 

Professional mountain bikers will feel most comfortable on the more adventurous mountain bikes routes to different mountain cabins and huts. The Ziller Valley is also ideal for racing cyclists.
